(Updated 10/3/19) – The sites no longer working or useful for me have been removed, and more recent additions to the stable have been added.
These are some of the freely available tools I’ve used in my PE lessons. If you want to add to the list, leave a comment and put in the URL for the site.
Wordle – create a graphical word cloud of topics, programs, books or anything that have plenty of words in them.
Powtoon – animations made easy. Great on Chromebooks
Popplet – great for Chromebooks, this is a collaborative mind mapping tool
Flipgrip – a really cool video response tool for your whole class. Works great with Chromebooks.
Edmodo – another social network tool, built especially for school groups
Podbean – free podcast hosting
Prezi – a zooming presentation creator – tricky to learn but awesome results.
Some really cool links. Great blog
